The Cost
We will create a proposal that explains all the specifications and expenses necessary for building your project. The proposal will be a fixed price for the total cost that will not increase unless you make changes during the building process. In this proposal, we will outline the activities that our team and subcontractors will perform.
Most general contractors build on a cost plus basis. When considering working with such a program remember the following:

You give the contractor a signed blank check.

You give the contractor no incentive to finish expeditiously, efficiently or error free.

You pay by the hour, not by the job. When the material is an hour late, you pay for 15 guys to stand around.

You pay for all of the mistakes, trips to the supply house, long lunches, coffee breaks, etc.

You pay for on the job training and even the time it takes to bill you.
